LocalVPS – Beta Usage Notice & Distribution Terms

01 // Governing Terms
LocalVPS Runtime obtained via the Unity Asset Store is governed exclusively by the Unity Asset Store End User License Agreement (EULA) and applicable Unity terms.
Nothing on this page is intended to modify, restrict, replace, or override rights granted under the Unity Asset Store EULA.
LocalVPS Mapping Tools, pipelines, and companion applications (including desktop tools and mobile mapping apps such as APK / IPA builds) are distributed separately and are covered by the usage notice below.
02 // Beta Status
LocalVPS is currently provided as a beta / validation release. During this period:
- — APIs, file formats, and behavior may change
- — Backward compatibility is not guaranteed
- — Performance and accuracy may vary depending on environment and conditions
This applies to the Unity runtime, mapping pipelines, and companion applications.
03 // Permitted Use
During the beta period, you may use LocalVPS (runtime, tools, and apps) for:
- — Prototypes and experiments
- — Internal testing and evaluation
- — Research, educational, and exploratory projects
- — Demonstrations, pilots, and previews
- — Production deployments at your own discretion and risk
There are no restrictions on commercial, client, institutional, or revenue-generating use during the beta period.
04 // Support & Maintenance
LocalVPS is provided without any obligation to provide support, maintenance, updates, or service-level guarantees.
Best-effort support may be offered at the publisher’s discretion but is not guaranteed.
05 // Warranty & Liability Notice
To the extent permitted by applicable law, LocalVPS is provided “as is” and “as available”.
Warranty terms for the Unity runtime are governed by the Unity Asset Store EULA. No guarantees are made regarding accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.
06 // Redistribution
You may not redistribute, sublicense, or resell the LocalVPS runtime, tools, or applications except as permitted by the Unity Asset Store EULA or applicable third-party licenses.
07 // Third-Party Components
LocalVPS includes third-party open-source components, including but not limited to:
- OpenMVG Mozilla Public License 2.0 (MPL 2.0)
- MVE BSD 3-Clause License
- OpenCV Apache License 2.0
Full license texts are included with the distributed software.

LocalVPS is developed and maintained by OthersideAR (Pavel Langweil). All rights not expressly granted under applicable licenses are reserved.
